The sun came out to play for an hour or two, lulling us into a false sense of security. Before long though, it was Monsoon season...
Meher got back from seeing our cousins today. She had a lovely time and Maria, Erum and their Dad looked amazing :) May they always remain this blessed and happy! Mother Dear and Father Dear went to Glasgow to stock up on Halal meat for the next batch of visitors… Ayesha, Khodeja and I watched Khabi Khushi Khabi Gham (loosely translated as "Sometimes Happiness Sometimes Sorrow") It's one of the longest, most emotional and cheesy Bollywood films you'd ever (not) want to watch.
Once Meher got back, the sisters and Poppet went for a drive. Ammi got back just as we did and informed us that she had dropped Abbi off at A&E…
Apparently, he had been trying to drill through the metal rods of Poppet's enclosure to make a waterproof she let above it and goat metal shard in his eye. WHAT!?! He sported a Bollywood-esque bandage on his eye as I picked him up and later informed us that he did have protective goggles but didn't wear them… You would think a surgeon of all people, would realise that he is not invincible… Let's hope he doesn't decided to goto work tomorrow.
