We spent most of the morning cleaning the Garage and restoring it to its former glory. Now that Poppet is in another area- she's getting too big too fast!- Mother Dear decided to re-claim the garage and make it all shiny and sparkly. After hours of work- it looks brilliant. And Ammi keep saying that my friends can stay in it when they come for the wedding…
I think they'd prefer to hire a caravan. They can't share a garage with rats- those rats don't know how to share. They're terrible hosts and are also very nosy.
I went to work at 1pm and once I got back, Meher and I went to Glasgow to speak to Aiina about their seamstress handiwork… On the way there, I realised we were passing Lynsey's flat and so I called her and asked if she wanted to come experience the Asian shops with us. I don't think she was prepared for what happened to her next. As a Pakistani, I was bowled over by Aiina's shop and so Lynsey was quite overwhelmed by "all the colours" and left the shop in a daze, having decided to get a Pakistani dress for the wedding as well. Before we dropped he back, we took her to a food shop and bought her some yummy nibbles. That night, I asked a few other friends if they'd like to buy a dress for August as well. They were crazy excited at the thought and I'll be taking them to Aiina next Thursday to give them an experience they won't forget ;)
